Understanding Topics

Topics describe the subjects your organization knows about, serves, teaches, discusses, or is meaningfully associated with.

Use Topics to create a controlled vocabulary for the website rather than relying only on WordPress categories and tags.

• A recurring educational subject
• A location or industry topic that is genuinely central to the organization

Avoid creating near-duplicate topics or using Topics as a keyword-stuffing mechanism.
