Business Profile Setup
The Business Profile defines the primary organization or business entity that sits at the center of your SETN Knowledge Graph.
Recommended Information
- Organization or business name
- Canonical website URL
- Business description
- Business or organization type
- Logo and primary image
- Phone and public contact information
- Primary city, region, or location
- Service areas
- Relevant social or authoritative profile URLs
Use information that accurately reflects how your organization presents itself publicly. Consistency across your website and authoritative profiles improves entity clarity.
Local Business & Service Areas
Use location and service-area settings to describe where your organization operates.
Physical Locations
If customers visit your location, provide accurate public location information consistent with your website and business profiles.
Service-Area Businesses
If you travel to customers or do not publicly display a street address, configure the site as a service-area business where supported. Use your home city/region and meaningful service areas rather than publishing a private address.
Area Served
Use areas that match your actual service footprint. Avoid adding cities, states, or regions solely to increase keyword coverage.
Organization Identity
Entity identity is more than a business name. SETN uses consistent identifiers and relationships to make it clearer that pages, services, authors, and content belong to the same organization.
Keep organization naming, canonical URLs, logos, and other identifiers consistent. If your public brand differs from your legal company name, configure the fields that best reflect the public entity customers actually encounter.
Avoid creating multiple competing identities for the same organization unless they truly represent separate brands or legal entities.
