BETTER EXPERIENCE FOR ALL VISITORS
ACCESSIBILITY + DEVELOPMENT + MAINTENANCE
COMMERCIAL & PUBLIC-SECTOR WEBSITES
Beyond compliance
Good accessibility is good website development.
An accessible website helps people find information, interact with content, complete forms, and use your services—whether they rely on a mouse, keyboard, screen reader, or mobile device.
Rather than treating accessibility as a one-time checklist, we connect it to website structure, content strategy, performance, and ongoing website care.
Our approach: discoverable. Accessible. Secure. Built to perform.
01 / BUILD
Website Development
Build accessible page structures, navigation, forms, and responsive experiences into new websites and redesigns.
02 / AUDIT
Accessibility Audits
Assess representative pages and essential user journeys with automated checks and manual WCAG testing.
03 / IMPROVE
Remediation & Optimization
Correct identified barriers in templates, forms, navigation, content, and documents; then retest the changes.
04 / MAINTAIN
Ongoing Support
Schedule accessibility reviews, regression checks, and content guidance as your website and integrations change.
Where should you start? New websites usually begin with development. Existing sites often begin with an audit. Known barriers can move directly to remediation; ongoing support helps maintain improvements.
From initial assessment to verified improvement.
We define what will be tested, who owns each issue, and which deliverables your team needs before work begins.
01 / DISCOVER
Preliminary accessibility assessment
A focused review of selected pages to understand probable issues and plan next steps.
- Automated scan and quick manual checks
- High-impact observations
- Initial remediation priorities
02 / EVALUATE
Comprehensive scoped WCAG audit
Systematic evaluation of representative pages and user tasks against the agreed standard.
- Keyboard and assistive technology checks
- WCAG criteria and repeatable evidence
- Formal audit report and findings register
03 / RESOLVE
Remediation, verification & monitoring
Correct in-scope barriers, independently retest, and establish a practical maintenance cadence.
- CMS, template, form and content changes
- Documented retest outcomes
- Post-launch monitoring recommendations
Eight steps. Clear evidence. Practical action.
Our workflow draws on W3C evaluation methodology and pairs automated findings with manual verification.
Step 1: Define requirements
Agree on goals, standards, site scope, exceptions, and deliverables.
Step 2: Inventory the website
Map templates, forms, integrations, documents, and essential tasks.
Step 3: Automated checks
Use scanning tools to detect programmatically identifiable concerns.
Step 4: Manual & assistive testing
Check keyboard use, screen readers, mobile layouts, and complete journeys.
Step 5: Record & prioritize
Document user impact, WCAG references, steps, severity, and effort.
Step 6: Remediate barriers
Address code, content, components, and approved third-party items.
Step 7: Verify corrections
Independently retest and check for unintended regressions.
Step 8: Report & maintain
Deliver audit evidence, open issues, and recurring review recommendations.
Connected services
Accessibility should not live on an island.
Accessible experiences depend on the same foundations as effective SEO, clear information architecture, secure website maintenance, and reliable digital services.
We can integrate accessibility work into a new build, existing website improvement plan, or ongoing support relationship.
Public-sector and regulated projects
Requirements-aware delivery for government websites.
Federal, state, and local projects have differing accessibility obligations and reporting requirements. We define the applicable baseline in the scope and map the findings accordingly.
- WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA testing where required
- WCAG 2.2 consideration when included in scope
- Section 508 requirements mapping for federal projects
- Document inventories, user journeys, findings, and remediation plans
What we document
Evidence over assumptions.
We report the assessed standard, representative sample, methods, barriers, severity, verification status, and outstanding limitations. Automated scans alone cannot establish full conformance.
ACR/VPAT support and independent evaluation should be explicitly scoped. We do not claim that an audit is a legal certification or a guarantee of permanent compliance.
A report your team can actually work from.
Clear requirements, assigned responsibilities, and documented verification make remediation measurable.
01 / SCOPE
Requirements map
Standard, inventory, sample and assumptions.
02 / FINDINGS
Issue register

Remediation roadmap
Priority, owner, estimated effort and dependencies.
04 / VERIFY
Retest record
Resolution status, methods and regression checks.
05 / HANDOFF
Executive summary

Frequently asked questions
What should we know before getting started?
Every accessibility project begins with a scope that matches the website and the client’s actual obligations.
Does a clean automated scan prove WCAG conformance?
No. Scanners can flag some issues, but keyboard navigation, screen-reader behavior, visual interactions, and complete tasks also need knowledgeable manual evaluation.
Do we need a full website redesign?
Usually not. Many barriers can be corrected in existing templates, components, and content. We recommend a rebuild only when the current platform or theme makes reliable fixes impractical.
Can you audit WordPress themes, plugins, and forms?
Yes. We test the theme templates, plugin output, and forms in scope, and identify where changes can be made directly and where vendor cooperation or a replacement component is needed.
Are PDF documents and third-party tools included?
They can be, but they must be listed explicitly in the scope. Volume, access, and vendor ownership can materially affect time and cost.
What about Section 508 and an ACR/VPAT?
For federal projects we can map findings to Section 508 requirements. ACR/VPAT support must be explicitly scoped, and the completed report remains the product owner’s statement of conformance.
Can accessibility be part of ongoing maintenance?
Yes. Scheduled checks and regression testing can be built into updates and content changes so improvements hold up as your site evolves.
