Activate Your License
Licensed editions use a SETN license to enable applicable features, updates, and support.
- Open SETN Schema Builder → Licensing & Updates.
- Enter the license key associated with your purchase.
- Activate the license.
- Confirm that the domain and license status are correct.
Do not publish your full license key in public support posts.
License Status
Use the Licensing & Updates screen to review activation state, connected domain information, edition, and update eligibility.
If a status looks stale after a purchase, migration, renewal, or deactivation, use the available refresh controls before troubleshooting further.
Automatic Updates
An eligible active license allows SETN to securely verify update entitlement and provide approved plugin update packages.
WordPress may cache update checks, so a newly available release may not appear instantly. Use Dashboard → Updates → Check Again when needed.
Moving a License to Another Website
If you need to move a seat from one domain to another, disconnect or deactivate the old domain before activating the new one when your plan requires it.
After a migration, confirm that the new domain is recognized and refresh license status in WordPress.
Managing Connected Domains
Your SETN account can show domains connected to eligible licenses.
Use Connected Domains to review seat usage, disconnect a site you no longer manage, and free a seat for another installation.
Agency-oriented views should avoid exposing unnecessary client information to other customers.
Free vs. Licensed Editions
The WordPress.org Free edition includes the features designated for the public free release. Commercially distributed licensed editions can include additional capabilities, update delivery, and support based on the purchased plan.
The exact feature matrix may change as SETN evolves, so use the current product comparison as the source of truth for plan-specific features.
Troubleshooting License Activation
If activation fails, verify the key, product, site limit, domain, HTTPS connectivity, firewall rules, and whether the license is already active elsewhere.
If the site was recently cloned or migrated, disconnect the old domain and refresh the new site’s license state.
